  • Freight Threshold Delivery: This is the default for all freight shipments. Threshold deliveries include a signature-required delivery to the first dry location outside of your home (commonly a front porch, garage, or lobby). Multi-item orders will be consolidated and shipped together for one single shipment and delivery.

Items that are in stock ship within 1–2 weeks. Sometimes the vendor is out of stock in this case you will be contacted by Hadley James Lighting customer service for next steps.

Shipping:

  • Free Shipping: Most items ship at no extra cost. Any applicable shipping fees will be shown at checkout.
  • Shipping Times: Lead times vary by vendor and product type. All estimates are subject to change. If delays occur, we’ll notify you as soon as possible.
  • Curbside Delivery: Most standard shipping orders are delivered to your curb. Freight carriers do not enter residences.
  • White Glove Delivery: If available, this option will appear at checkout and includes in-home placement, one flight of stairs, and packaging removal. Assembly is not included but may be available for an additional cost.
  • Shipping Locations: We currently ship within the contiguous 48 states. Deliveries to Alaska and Hawaii are available, but customers are responsible for all freight costs, and sales are final.
  • Freight Costs & Order Cancellations: If shipping costs make an order unfeasible, we will reach out to discuss options, including covering part of the cost or canceling with a full refund.

Returns:

  • Returns are accepted for select items within 10 days of delivery. Please check the product page for eligibility.
  • A 20% restocking fee may apply.
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
  • Customized, made-to-order, and final sale items are not eligible for return.
  • All returned items must be unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging.

Damages & Claims:

  • Please inspect your order immediately upon arrival.
  • If your item arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours with photos of the damage and packaging.
  • Freight Deliveries: Inspect before signing. If damaged, refuse the shipment and note “Damaged” on the bill of lading. We’ll arrange a replacement.
