The Limehouse Lamp Co. Lighting

Timeless English design is at the heart of Limehouse lighting. Founded in 1971, The Limehouse Lamp Company has spent decades recreating the character and soul of antique British lighting using traditional materials and old-world techniques. Their workshop in Sussex continues to handcraft each piece in solid brass and copper, just as it was done generations ago.

Every Limehouse design is shaped by history. From Victorian carriage lanterns to early industrial pendants and nautical wall lights, their collections reflect more than 200 years of English and American architectural influence. Many pieces are inspired by original antiques, carefully reproduced and hand-finished so no two fixtures ever feel exactly the same.

Behind each light is a team of artisans with more than 100 years of combined craftsmanship experience. Metalwork is soldered by hand, heavy cast components are poured using traditional sand-casting methods, and finishes are applied slowly and artfully to give every piece a warm, heirloom quality.

Limehouse is one of the few lighting makers still producing authentic, period-inspired fixtures that feel both historic and beautifully livable in a modern home. Their work pairs effortlessly with our American Heritage and Signature Tradition collections, bringing richness, history, and a sense of permanence to any space.
